Back on Track Hopefully

We received the following message yesterday from the orphanage. We are now just waiting for the Consulate to appove Stanley's Visa and set up the Visa appointment. Once the appointment is made they should let us know the date so we can be in Haiti for it. They usually give the parents about a one week notice.

Good morning!

I am pleased to tell you that we retrieved the dossier yesterday, and we were able to have one paper corrected by the judge late yesterday. For the other paper, Dixie has written a note explaining why the paper had to be made the way it was. The consulate should therefore have everything they need on that front, as we are sending the paperwork back down this morning.

We have also provided Stanley's passport and medical, so when the consulate receives the package today, they will have a complete dossier for his application.

I thank you for your patience and trust during this time. I can only imagine how challenging it is for your family while we work these things out. We want you to be united with Stanley as quickly as possible, too!

Great news! Praying this will be it for your family and you'll get the final good news soon.

Oh my gosh... it sounds like you are so close to going and bringing him home. He is such a cutie. I can't wait to see pictures of him, not in the orphanage, but with his family. It gives me hope that our little guy will be home one day soon also.
